Mom and dad spent their first week emulating the Amazing Race contestants, zipping from landmark to landmark, making tracks. It’s only suitable that on the seventh day, they rest.

Sunday. We slept in until 11:00. It has been an exhausting week; we have driven about 2,000 miles. And we’ve only made it to Minnesota! There isn’t a congregation listed on the Church website, but we realized we could join the zoom broadcast of our meeting back home. This afternoon we drove around the town looking at the neighborhoods and business district. The town has about 8,500 inhabitants. It looks like there are a couple of large industrial
employers, plus agriculture. It’s a very clean town. It looks like an inviting place to live, until one realizes it gets 40 below zero in the Winter around here. Not for me.
